A New Geography Resource

After searching for the perfect basic U.S. Geography curriculum and not finding it, I've put together my own, using pictures found from DLTK printables, (that site is awesome!) and maps from Enchanted Learning (I'm a member of that one). Please don't sell or share.  Use for your own family's use and link back here when sharing.  Show some love to the folks over at Enchanted Learning and DLTK printables as well! :)

God Bless,

  1. Bummer.... I haven't been able to download it yet... I even signed up for the place you're using to have us download. Perhaps it'll work later... Looks nice, though :)

    1. You need to click on the blue download link on the page at 4share. Then wait the 20 seconds until the download link appears. Then it'll let you download it. Let me know if that works.

  2. It's not letting me download either. I've d/l from 4shared many times without a problem. Not sure why it isn't working.

  4. This is VERY well done. I too had trouble when putting together a U.S.A. State Unit and struggled to piece meal things together. I especially love the bird and flower pages for each state! Thank you for creating this and sharing it with everyone!

  6. I opened the file and because it is such a large file and I need two copies for my boys I was trying to save it to a disc so I can take it somewhere to print and bind. It didn't give me that option. I was wondering did you set it up like that or is maybe something wrong.

  7. Chandra,

I'm not sure about how they have it set up, I have no control other than uploading the file to the server. Can you save the file to your computer and then to a disk? Other than that do you have a usb stick you can save it to. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

  10. I am printing my first 2 states out as I type. I will be a newbie to homeschooling starting this Monday. I am homeschooling my youngest son for Kinder. I am excited about the journey and also nervous. I have three children, the other 2 are 13 and 10. And this will be my first time embarking on this type of adventure. I plan on introducing 2 states a week. Can't wait! Thanks so much!

  17. Niki,

I am always on the search for the perfect curriculum. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands. I do that often.

  19. Thanks so much for a wonderful set! We are preparing for a major road trip (17 states!) so have been printing busily to get our notebooks ready! I came across a slight problem though...on the South Dakota map page, it shows the map for South Carolina! Oops! Is there any way you can correct that? I tried looking up the maps on Enchanted Learning but the answers maps are only available by subscription, which I don't have. Thanks again for a great learning tool!

  20. Can I just say, this is EXACTLY what I've been looking for to make my life easier? I'm doing a state study with my 5th grader this year and we've been using a combo of books and the internet, but it was tedious and not very cohesive. THANK YOU so much for your incredible generosity and hard work to create this file. I'm thrilled to have found it. You did an amazing job. Thank you!
